A SUTE team consisting of Anzhelika Gerasymenko, Vice-rector for Research, Pedagogical Activities and International Relations, Oksana Trubei, Director of Business Simulation Education and Research Centre, and Yulia Drozdova, Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation, participated in Sense-Making Workshop Together with Stakeholders on Courses’ Identification, held at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) as part of the Erasmus+ project “University Infrastructure for Workforce Development focusing on Twin Transition.”

The event brought together representatives of the academic community and industry experts to discuss modern approaches to the development of educational programs, digital transformation, and the integration of sustainable development principles into professional training.

Participants learned about the activities of the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, the current needs of stakeholders regarding the development of competencies necessary for implementing the concept of twin transition, and the results of research on the skills and competencies most in demand in today’s professional environment. An important component of the program was a feedback session with stakeholders, during which key competencies necessary for the development and modernization of educational courses were discussed. As part of the course identification session, participants worked on finding new approaches to developing and updating the content of educational courses.

Particular attention was paid to educational innovations for twin transition developed within the related international projects Digital Sustainability and DeepCEL, as well as to issues of digital transformation in the context of partnership with society.

The practical value of the event was enhanced by presentations and discussions on successful practices for engaging stakeholders in the processes of twin transition, particularly the experience of implementing the Viable Cities initiative and adopting relevant approaches in the Valencia region of Spain.
Participation in the workshop was an important opportunity to exchange international experiences, expand professional networks, and learn about modern approaches to updating educational programs in line with labour market needs, the challenges of digital transformation, and the principles of sustainable development.
